Ova
has been designed to be there for you, no matter what you are doing.
When you know that your period is on its way, you should put on
the electrodes in the morning as you’re getting dressed, clipping
the control unit to your trousers, skirt or underwear, or slipping
it into a pocket.
When you feel the period pain coming on, switch on the Ova,
turning it up until you can feel it start to fight the pain.
When the pain goes, switch it off, keeping the electrodes and
control unit in place, in case the pain returns.
Another
way to use the Ova is to stop pain before it begins. This is
particularly useful when you need to be avoid distractions and
remain alert, such as during an exam, driving test or business
presentation. The Ova has three different pain-relieving modes,
which are fully explained in the instructions that come with
your Ova. Mode C relieves pain by stimulating the body to release
endorphins (the body’s natural painkillers). Due to this
endorphin release, Mode C has a carry-over pain relief effect
that can last for up to two hours after the Ova is switched off.
